Bernard, Ken, Eleanor, Frank S and Ginny finished off the path at Hippins - strimming the sedge and dealing with several drainage issues.
Digging channels to try and keep the water off the path
and testing the bogs to search for causey stones.
A bit of co-ordinated scraping and eventually we all joined up to uncover a long lost path.
Nigel, Gerald and Rich worked on a path that starts opposite Hebden Bridge Station, leading up to Dodnaze. The steps were overgrown and needed scraping and several of the wooden steps at the top had rotted off.
And while we were there, we had a good clean of the Hardscastle Crag sign that was distinctly green!

We will go and have a look at the rest of the path to Dodnaze as it should make a handy shortcut to the station for people.
